The Italian National Association consists of the AEIT Society per la Tecnologia dell’Informazione e delle Comunicazioni (AICT) and has been functioning since 2004. It has incorporated the former Associazione degli Ingegneri Italiani delle Telecomunicazioni (AIIT) that was founded in 1962 to be the Fitce italian branch.
AICT has more than 800 members in all fields of ICT. About 500 of them are specifically interested in telecommunications and consequently in FITCE.
